RedunClean (“the app”) helps you find similar photos on your device and delete copies you no longer need. Your privacy is important to us.
The app requests permission to read images from your device gallery so it can:
Photos are processed locally. We do not operate servers that receive your photos. Photo contents are not sent to Google for grouping.
The app uses the internet only to request and display ads (and related ad-consent / measurement traffic). Grouping still works if ads fail to load.
The app uses the Google Mobile Ads SDK (AdMob) to show banner ads.
Google may collect and process:
This data is collected and shared by Google for advertising, analytics, and fraud prevention. It is not used by RedunClean to identify you or to process your photos.
Learn more:
You can limit ad personalization in Android settings (wording varies by device), for example: Settings → Google → Ads, then opt out of ads personalization or delete the advertising ID.
Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland may see a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before personalized ads are requested. You can change that choice later from Ads privacy in the app menu when Google requires it.
Photos remain on your device until you delete them. The app does not keep copies of your images.
Advertising data is handled by Google according to Google’s policies and retention periods.
The app is not directed at children under 13 and is intended for a general adult audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Do not use the app if you are under 13.
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date will change when we do.
